Jessica Ione Torrey, 40, passed away Monday, Sept. 9, 2019, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Portland, Ore., with her mother by her side. She was never alone her last two weeks, surrounded by her many friends and family. Jessica was born March 29, 1979, in Centralia, Wash., to Rick and Janis Torrey of Mossyrock, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rick; grandparents, Verne and Ione Perkins and Bill Torrey and Kathleen Rubel.
Jessica is survived by her daughter, Kylee Torrey (Jake) Barker of Newport News, Va.; son, Dane of Coos Bay, Ore.; mother, Janis; brother, Randy (Jenny) Torrey of Mossyrock, Wash.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, including her "twin" cousin, Kari.
We will all miss her beautiful smile and her engaging sunny personality. Jessica was a wonderful, loving mother who always put her kids first. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, at Mossyrock Community Center.
