Easton Kolb had a day to remember on Friday, as the Mossyrock senior struck out 13 batters on the mound and hit two home runs at the plate to lead the Vikings to a 15-1 win over Morton-White Pass in their regular-season finale.

The Vikings scored eight runs in the first inning, and Kolb added on in the second with a two-run home run before adding another two-run blast in the fifth.

On the mound, he allowed just four hits and one earned run while walking one and striking every Timberwolf at least once.

Gunnar Callies added a double and two runs batted in, while Kevin Mitchell finished 2 for 2 with two RBIs, two walks, and two runs.

Carson Fleetwood drove in MWP’s lone run, bringing home Peyton Shields with an RBI single in the bottom of the first.

MWP (0-18, 0-16) will finish its season on Saturday, when it heads to Cowiche to face Highland in a doubleheader.

Mossyrock finishes its regular season 8-8, and the Vikings will be the No. 5 seed from the C2BL in the upcoming District 4 Tournament. They’ll face the P2BL’s No. 4 seed (either Raymond-South Bend or Forks) in the first round of districts on Saturday, May 10 in Adna.
