Two weeks after their season opener, the Black Hills baseball team returned to action looking to get its first win.

The Wolves not only got their first win, but they did in dominant fashion. Willie Kytta and Adley Goebel threw a combined no-hitter on the bump, and the Black Hills offense did enough to top Woodland 4-0.

Kytta pitched the first four innings, walking five and striking out eight, and Goebel walked one and struck out five across the final three frames.

Goebel got the Wolves on the board with a two-run single in the second, and Elija Simpson made it 3-0 with an RBI single of his own in the third. Black Hills’ fourth run came across on an error in the sixth.

The Wolves (1-1) will be back at home on Thursday, when they’ll host Aberdeen in their league opener.
