The Onalaska softball team was held scoreless through three innings in Tenino on Tuesday, but the Loggers scored 18 runs in the final four innings to come away with an 18-12 victory.
Tenino got the scoring started with a pair of runs in the third, but Onalaska got on the board with a five-run fourth. Tenino retook the lead in the bottom of the fourth, and the Beavers led 9-7 going into the sixth.
The Loggers tallied 11 runs in those final two innings, including a seven-run seventh that put the game away.
Rylee Torres led the Loggers by going 4 for 4 with three runs batted in, and Yuliana Escalera added three hits, including a double, and two walks while also scoring four runs.
Braelyn Babb and Chloe Haag added a hit and two RBIs apiece, and four other Loggers — Cadence Cantrell, Gracin Vickers, Abby Ellis, and Jaelyn Auman — drove in a run.
Preslee Fisher has two extra-base hits and an RBI for Tenino, while Jaeleen Woodward added three singles.
Kate Burkhardt and Macie Scharber added two hits and scored two runs each, while Chloe Grayless and Kylie Gonia added one RBI apiece.
The Loggers (7-9, 4-3 C2BL) will wrap up its regular season on Thursday, when they will host Toledo. The Beavers (1-14, 0-8 1A Evergreen) will also be in action on Thursday, when they head to Port Townsend to take on East Jefferson.
