I read with interest The Chronicle Editorial Board’s comments about it being time for a GOP governor.

Why? Why would you want to step back into hard times?

Washington is one state that under Democrat Governors has stayed a place that is not considered poor, like Missouri or Louisiana or most of the GOP-run states.

The last time we had a GOP governor we had a recession under John Spellman. While he was a very nice person, we cannot say the same about the GOP candidate for governor this year, Dave Reichert, who promotes himself in his book over and over and is known to have tunnel vision and even argued the Green River Killer could not be Ridgeway. If left to him, Gary Ridgway would have gone on killing.

Please consider all facts and the economy when voting for Washington’s governor.
