I am not a negative person; however, the fireworks that went off on July 3 and 4 were out of control.
For three-plus hours on the Fourth of July it felt and sounded like a war zone at my house.
These fireworks sounded almost like bombs and actually shook my house a couple of times.
Thank goodness my little dog wasn’t here to go through this trauma one more year.
To the Centralia City Council, I ask that you permanently ban fireworks because as it stands now you don’t enforce your own noise and firework codes.
