I’m writing in support of Dave Fenn’s candidacy for Lewis County Public Utility District commissioner.
I don’t live in Lewis County, but I’ve known Dave Fenn for about 12 years now in his capacity as the chair of the Lewis Conservation District Board of Supervisors. In my career, I’ve worked directly with 32 of the 45 conservation district boards in Washington, and I can say without hesitation that Dave Fenn is the finest conservation district board member I’ve ever worked with. His knowledge of, and heartfelt dedication to, his community sets him apart as does his spirit of public service.
As someone who grew up in a public power community and for three years represented PUDs in Olympia, I know how important adherence to the principles and values of nonprofit, community based utility service is.
Dave holds those values and, if elected, will be a terrific PUD commissioner.
