Letter to the Editor: Disappointed in Canceled Vaccine Appointment


My 80-year-old husband spent all afternoon shoveling his pickup out of a snowbank yesterday, parked it at the bottom of our mile-long driveway and walked up, and walked down again in knee-deep snow early this morning to make his 8:30 a.m. appointment for a COVID-19 vaccination at Arbor Health Morton Clinic — only to find they’d canceled and hadn’t bothered to let him know. How do they expect people to get vaccinated with performance like that?
