I have had the honor of serving on the board of directors for the United Way of Lewis County since 2011 with Angie Brown, and I am proud to have collaborated with her for all that time. Angie brings optimism and a work ethic that not only energized me, but also the board and the executive committee.
She has a unique ability to balance the growth and outreach of United Way with the budget constraints we are always under. Angie led, and still does, many of the fundraisers and has the ability, drive and skill to bring a diverse set of people together to accomplish remarkable results.
She is a true servant leader. She does not lead by telling folks what to do. Instead, she brings people along with her enthusiasm and her willingness to be the one to tackle the hard jobs.
Angie does not know the meaning of an eight-hour day. She is always attending community events, meeting with community members, and advocating for the betterment of Lewis County.
I believe Angie will be the best candidate for Lewis County Public Utility District commissioner. She will take her optimism, drive, fiscal responsibilities and hard work to this position.
She will also keep a close eye on rates, budgets and spending, as well as treating employees and customers with respect and professionalism.
Please join me in supporting this remarkable leader.
