To the constituents of Lewis County Fire District No. 15:
Your Winlock Firefighters IAFF Local 2510 would like to announce their support of Proposition 1 being put forth to a vote of the people of Lewis County Fire District No.15.
The passing of Proposition 1 is crucial for the fire district to always maintain the current 24/7 staffing model of four firefighters on duty. This model ensures minimum coverage of calls for service, both medical aid and fire response. This provides both a level of responder safety, as well as resources available to handle more complex calls for service or additional 911 calls that are received.
In addition, Proposition 1 will also provide funding for critical training and equipment allowing your Winlock firefighters to provide you with the absolute best service possible.
Winlock Professional Firefighters have found the current administration for Winlock Fire and Rescue to be excellent stewards of district funds. We believe and have witnessed financial decisions made within the district to be made with the taxpayers in mind.
Winlock Professional Firefighters IAFF local 2510 supports Proposition 1.
Knowing all the above, we believe the district will continue to use funds appropriately and correctly. Winlock Professional Firefighters look forward to providing the citizens and community with excellent service for several years to come.
