• $5.50 — title filing
• $4 — plate reflectivity
• $20 — plate replacement
• $30 — registration license*
- 50 cents — Department of Licensing service
- 25 cents — License plate technology
• $75 — Hybrid vehicle electrification*
• $25 — Vehicle weight
• $15 — Title service fee
• $8 — Registration fee
• $15 — Vehicle title application
• $4 — emergency service
Total: $206.75
* I understand the standard $30 and the extra 75-cent hybrid tax, but the $101.75 in taxes and fees, come on, this is called gouging the public.
Don’t forget the donations on top of the taxes and fees.
