Letter to the Editor: Thank You for Story About Fish Advocacy

Posted

Thank you to The Chronicle. We appreciate your front page story on the man from Adna.

He was the property owner who turns to conservation and fish advocacy.

We all love healthy streams. We all love healthy fish.

It is so good to hear about someone who cares, someone who advocates to keep our streams healthy. He talks about the Feb. 12 tree planting day in Chehalis (at the bottom of the article).

The stream team is bringing this fun day together. What a great day to have the family in the fun outdoors, to teach kids about planting trees, to have fun together.

We are so proud of the Lewis County Stream Team group. What a wonderful group of people. The property owner talks about when trees grow high, they kill the canary grass, and the wetland area develops, which is great for small fish to grow into big fish.

We need to have lots of fish and habitat for the next generation of fishermen!

Thanks again for a great, upbeat article!
