Letter to the Editor: Why I Won’t Take the Vaccine

Posted

I am a proud Republican, deplorable, Walmart shopper and patriot. I will not be getting the COVID-19 vaccine due to many different reasons. Thirty percent of my reasoning in saying no to the shot is political. I have no faith or trust in the federal government, Sleepy Joe, Queen Inslee and the Democrat Party. Basically, all liberals care about is how much money they can get from my wallet and attacking our constitutional rights.

Forty-five percent of my reasoning for not getting the shot is the very poor track record of the manufactures of the vaccines. The information that I found about these manufacturers is scary.

Ten percent of my reasoning for not getting the vaccine is that the vaccine isn't FDA approved yet. I am not a guinea pig.

Another 10% of my reasoning is that nobody knows the long term effects of the vaccine yet. The manufacturers of the vaccines were given immunity so that they cannot be sued or be held liable, which bothers me.

The last 5% is that trying to force, shame or restrict my rights to force me to get the vaccine will only make my resistance to the vaccine stronger. I am being told that being forced to get the vaccine is like having insurance and driver’s license to drive a car or being forced to pay taxes. I believe that these are totally two different subjects. Forcing a person to inject an untested foreign substance into someone's body without knowing the long term effects is scary. My body, my choice.

The Democrats have been crying about this for years about pro-choice concerning abortions.
