According to the Lewis County Auditor’s Office, 142 ballots will be mailed March 26 to all military and overseas voters for the April 27 special election, 30 days prior to the election as required by law.
The advance mailing provides voters in the military or overseas with time to receive their ballot, learn about the candidates or issues and return their ballot in a timely manner.
Voters can check their voter registration status and voter registration address and register to vote online at www.votewa.gov.

On the ballot in the April 27 special election is a levy for the Centralia School District, which has seen two previous attempts to pass the measure fail.
