Lewis County Auditor’s Office: Oct. 25 Deadline to Remotely Register to Vote, Update Registration

Next Monday, Oct. 25, will be the final day for Lewis County voters to update or register by mail, online or at drivers licensing locations for the Nov. 2 general election, according to the Lewis County Auditor’s Office.

“The eight-day registration deadline is for all new registrations, address changes, county transfers and name changes done remotely by mail, online or at drivers’ licensing locations and must be received by the voting center (Auditor’s Office) no later than Monday, Oct. 25, 2021,” a news release from the office says.

In-person registration can be conducted at the Auditor’s Office at 351 NW North St. in Chehalis between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Registration can be checked online at www.votewa.gov.



The last day to register or update your registration in person is 8 p.m. on the day of election. Updates can only be processed if the voter has not already returned their ballot.

The Auditor’s Office is also available for assistance to individuals with disabilities, and the elderly, for registration and voting. Voters can call the Auditor’s Office at 360-740-1164.
