The Lewis County Auditor’s Office will test the county’s Accessible Voting Unit (AVU) on Feb. 26 at 9 a.m.

During the test, the auditor’s office will mark and print each unique balloting style and incorporate it into the test deck for the logic and accuracy test. The test is scheduled for Feb. 26 at 9 a.m.

On Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 2 p.m. the county will hold the logic and accuracy test ahead of the March 12 presidential primary. Both tests are open to the public for observation.

Additionally, the Lewis County Canvassing Board will hold public meetings on March 21 and 22 at 9 a.m. During the March 21 meeting, the canvassing board will swear in members, and review and determine the status of provisional, challenged or questionable ballots. On March 22, the board will review any remaining ballots and certify the results from the presidential primary.
