Restrictions and closures on a small number of Lewis County roadways were reported Thursday morning as excessive rainfall inundated the area.
Jackson Highway at Chehalis Valley Road was restricted to one lane as water made one part of the roadway impassable. Teitzel Road was closed as of 8:20 a.m. Thursday due to water over the roadway.
Only one lane was open on North Military Road at milepost 1.25 and at Jackson Highway. Coal Creek Road in the 400 block as of 9:52 a.m. Thursday was also restricted due to water on roadway.
