The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office has announced several changes to its leadership team that went into effect Jan. 1.
Specifically, the sheriff’s office promoted Captain Rick Van Wyck to chief of operations; Sergeant Jeff Godbey to captain overseeing the patrol division; Detective Matt Wallace to sergeant overseeing the detective division; and support technician Kelly Van Wyck to property and evidence manager.
“I am proud of each of them for their continued hard work and dedication to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office and the community we serve,” Sheriff Rob Snaza said in a Jan. 3 Facebook post.
