The Centralia American Legion Grant Hodge Post 17 will host a memorial wreath-laying ceremony on Veterans Day to honor U.S. service members both past and present, according to American Legion member and U.S. Army veteran Jessie Clark.

“We have a wreath laying ceremony that starts at 10 a.m. in the main hall, and then the high school band will play for the veterans,” Clark said.

Centralia High School’s band will perform. Following the ceremony and performance, the American Legion’s kitchen will host a “bean feed” for veterans.

American Legion Grant Hodge Post 17 is located at 111 W. Main St. in downtown Centralia.
