Logan Moore Dominates in Bearcat Win

Posted

W.F. West baseball pitcher Logan Moore fanned the first six batters he faced, and after the dust had settled over seven innings, Moore dominated on the bump to help the Bearcats to a 2-0 league win over Aberdeen at home Thursday.

Moore ended up with 14 strikeouts in seven innings of work, with just three hits and no earned runs.

The Bearcats scored both of their runs in the first two innings, with the first being a Braden Jones single that scored Brock Bunker, and the second run coming in the second inning.

The Bobcats actually outhit the Bearcats, racking up three to W.F. West’s two, but Moore’s day on the mound helped them stay perfect in league play.

Next on the docket for the Bearcats is a Spring Break tournament in Ephrata on Monday and Tuesday.
