Logger Boys Capture Six-Team Meet in Elma

Powered by seven event victories, Onalaska boys track and field easily captured a six-team meet in Elma on Thursday.

The Loggers won with 129 points, with Tenino placing second with 82, North River was third with 68, Raymond was fourth with 53, Elma was fifth with 43 and Willapa Valley finished sixth with 36.

Ony’s Kole Taylor won the 100-meter dash in a time of 11.68 and the 200-meter dash in 24.23. Ben Russon won the 400 with a 57.99, while Trevor Blair won the 3200 (12:09.10). 

Riley Carter won the 300-meter hurdles in 47.62, and the 4x400-meter relay of Riley Carter, Isaac Fitch, Daniel Malott and Russon won in a time of 4:01.64. James McMillion won the high jump in 5-1.



Tenino won the 4x100 relay with Blaine Schott, Larry Whitney, Gavin Watson and Dylan Spicer combining for a time of 47.12.

On the girls side, Raymond won with 112 points, Willapa Valley was second with 95, Tenino third with 58, Elma fourth with 57, Onalaska fourth with 24 and North River was fifth with 23.

Local winners included Tenino’s Claire Scibelli in the 800 (3:12.32) and Tenino’s Paisley Garcia in the 300 hurdles (1:00.7).
