The Onalaska girls basketball team rebounded from its first loss, defeating Raymond-South Bend 51-37 on Monday.
Onalaska led by six after one and extended the lead to 20 by scoring 21 points in the second.
The second half was more even, but the Loggers were able to hold onto the lead for a comfortable victory.
“I was very proud of our defensive effort, especially in the first half,” Olson said. “Our communication was much improved. Every player stepped in and contributed tonight.”
Emalie Jacoby had a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds, and she added four assists. Leah Hamilton added nine points and Kiley Talley scored seven.
Renzy Marshall scored six points, grabbed eight rebounds, and added four steals, while Delaney Marshall scored three points and dished out three assists. Leighton Underhill rounded out the Onalaska scoresheet with three points of her own.
Onalaska (6-1) will be back in action on Saturday at Black Hills.
