Loggers Can’t Keep Up With Chinooks

In a non-league contest on the road, the Onalaska boys basketball team fell to its southern rival Kalama, 67-24, Thursday night.

The Loggers (1-3) had trouble from the jump, and struggled on both ends in their third defeat.

“We made no effort whatsoever,” Loggers coach Wayne Nelson said. “Our last two games were identical. Against Winlock we played hard, the last two games we did not.”

Ony got 16 of its 24 points from Mason Ulery, and Kole Taylor had six points to lead the Loggers.

Onalaska will hope to rebound against Morton-White Pass at home on Saturday in its first league contest of the season.
