In the penultimate game of the Onalaska High School boys soccer team’s first season, they fell to Fort Vancouver 4-0 on Wednesday night on the road. They’ll enter their final game 1-14 overall and in Class 1A Trico League action.
“This season has been the (most fun I’ve) coached because the attitude has been great,” Loggers head coach Luis Magana said. “These boys are eager to learn. Having a small team has also helped us create a strong bond. I’ll miss these guys in the offseason.”
Fort Vancouver scored two goals in the opening half and added two more in the final 40 minutes to seize control. Onalaska used two goalies in Ethan Gerbracht and Noland Brady, combining for 12 saves.
