Loggers Felled By Forks

The Onalaska girls basketball team hit the road in a big way Monday but didn’t get a victory out of it, falling to Forks in a non-league clash, 66-28.

“We just turned the ball over in the half-court far too many times, and most of those led to layins for them,” Onalaska coach Alana Olson said.

The Loggers only broke double figures in one quarter, and trailed 39-10 at halftime after scoring just four points in the second.

Brooklyn Sandridge led Onalaska with 14 points, and Shantai Ikola and Cierra Berg both scored four.

Onalaska will be back in Lewis County on Tuesday, taking on Winlock on the road.
