Onalaska couldn’t find its rhythm offensively and the Loggers took a 70-43 loss to Wahkiakum on the road Tuesday in Central 2B League play.
Mason Ulery scored a game-high 24 points for the Loggers but it wasn’t enough to overcome a poor night of shooting overall for the team.
Onalaska shot 11 of 43 from the field (26%) and was 6 of 21 from beyond the arc (29%).
Wahkiakum was led by Brodie Avalon’s 19 points as the Mules shot a blazing 25 of 51 (49%) from the field and was 5 of 15 (33%) from long range.
“There were some bright spots today,” Onalaska coach Wayne Nelson said. “It was our second game not playing JV guys. We got no excuses.”
Onalaska (1-6 overall) hosts Stevenson Thursday in 2BCL action.
