Loggers Still Searching for Offensive Consistency in Loss to Ducks

Posted

Shooting just 25% from the floor and turning the ball over 27 times, the Onalaska girls basketball team scrapped with Toutle Lake all game, but couldn’t string together enough good offensive possessions in a 45-26 loss Wednesday night at home.

The Loggers got a team-high 11 points from Kiley Talley, and Brooklyn Sandridge finished with six points, nine steals, and five boards, but it wasn’t enough in another Central 2B loss.

“The girls played hard tonight,” Loggers coach Alana Olson said. “Especially on defense, but our offense struggled again. Toutle Lake is a good, young team. They capitalized on our mistakes.”

Cierra Berg added six boards for the Loggers and Randi Haight had five points.

Ony takes on Kalama at home Friday night.
