Loggers Swept by Chinooks in Road Twinbill

Onalaska was unable to counter Kalama’s high-scoring offense, taking back-to-back losses in a doubleheader road sweep by the Chinooks on Monday.

The Loggers were no-hit in Game 1, taking a 15-0 loss, as Kalama’s Noah Imboden was flawless with a perfect game, striking out 13 batters for the five-inning win.

Jeremy Larson took the loss for the Loggers, allowing three earned runs on five hits and no walks with two strikeouts across three innings. Domanic Serl allowed six earned runs in two-thirds of an innings and Case McGraw surrendered six earned runs in one-third of an innings.

The Loggers finally found a little offense in Game 2, scoring six runs on five hits in a 14-6 loss.

Onalaska went up 2-0 in the top of the first before the Chinooks fired back to tie it up, then took the lead for good with two more runs in the second, three in the third and a seven-run explosion in the fourth to put the game away.

Larson was 2 for 3 at the plate for Ony with two runs and an RBI. Ethan Cameron went 1 for 2 with a run and two RBIs, and Lethon Fitch, Cameron and Case McGraw all had hits as well.

Rylan McGraw fanned two batters in three scoreless innings, while Case McGraw allowed four earned runs in one-third of an innings and Serl allowed one earned run on two hits with a K in two-third of an inning.

Onalaska (3-4) hosts Winlock at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
