In its final game of the regular season, and its last tune-up game before districts next week, the Onalaska softball team defeated Raymond-South Bend Thursday afternoon at home, 6-4.
Lisa Liddell again starred in the circle, tossing a complete game, striking out 11, and giving up just four hits, two walks, and two earned runs.
At the plate, Kate Zandell went 2 for 3 with a double and a triple, Yuliana Escalera went 2 for 3 with a triple and three RBIs, and Rylee Torres went 1 for 2 with an RBI on a sacrifice.
The Loggers will take on the Pacific 2B’s No. 3, which is currently Ocosta, on Monday in Montesano for a loser-out first-round district game.
