Louise Deibert Robbins Lloyd

Posted

Louise was the youngest of 10 children born to Charles and Bertha (McKay) Deibert. After graduating from R.A. Long High School in Longview in 1943, she joined the United States Navy Waves and was one of the Code Girls stationed in Washington D.C. She and the honorable Judge William Robbins were married for 44 years until his death in 1990.

After meeting and marrying Donald Lloyd, they shared nine years together until he passed in 2002. That was a hard year for mom as she also lost her beloved first born, Michael Roy Robbins.

Louise loved dancing, gardening, sewing, knitting, embroidery, camping, clam digging and her friends, but most of all she loved life! Louise was the business manager for Napavine School District for many years and made it a point to always know the students in the school. She was very active in the community and participated in the Funtime Festival and was active in the Napavine Fire Department Auxillary as Bill volunteered with the fire department for 27 years with 18 of those years being Chief.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue (Jim) Burke; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several very special nieces and nephews.

A big thank you to Kay Stewart, Sharon Care and Chehalis West for the care and love they bestowed on mom. Per Louise's wishes, there will not be a funeral, but there will be a celebration of life later in January.
