McCauley's 37 Points Helps Thunderbirds Beat Warriors

Tumwater and Rochester were finally able to find passable weather and finish a make-up game, with the Thunderbirds taking a 95-48 win on Tuesday in 2A Evergreen Conference play.

Lily McCauley shot 1-under par to score 37 points and earn match-medalist honors for Tumwater. The top scorers for Rochester were Izzy Masias with a career-high 18, and Audrey Williams, Bailey Mclellan and Mercy Hayden each added nine points.



Rochester plays again Wednesday at home against Shelton, then Thursday against Centralia. The EvCo tournament begins May 12 at Tumwater Valley Golf Course, followed by the 2A District 4 tournament on May 16 and 17 at Mint Valley Golf Course.
