OLYMPIA — McDonald's is looking for a few good workers to staff its restaurants in Washington.

In fact, in a press release, the company said it is inviting 4,300 job seekers looking for summer work to apply for part-time and full-time jobs at restaurants across the state.

"Whether it's a part-time job to help save up for a major purchase, a full-time promotion with the flexibility to work around family commitments or a first-time job with the goal of gaining valuable work experience, McDonald's has a position to meet any candidate's needs and the foundation to help drive long-term success, whether that's with McDonald's or elsewhere," the press release said.

In the press release, the company touted the education benefits it provides to employees: help to earn a high school diploma, English-language classes, as well as the company's new partnership with Western Governors University to provide employees with a 5% tuition discount and scholarships and its existing partnership with Colorado Technical University that will allow students to receive significant assistance through the company's Archways to Opportunity program.
