Milton “Miltie” Howard Gillihan

Milton “Miltie” Howard Gillihan passed away Dec. 4, 2019, at Centralia Providence Hospital. He was born Aug. 12, 1952, in Boise, Idaho, to John and Elsie Gillihan.

His family lived in Grandview, Garden City and Cascade before moving to Yellow Pine, Idaho in 1963. He attended Yellow Pine school from 1963 to 1967. He graduated from Emmett High School in 1970. He moved to Washington state where he drove truck for Dick Simons Trucking and Harold Sorenson Trucking.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne (Clark) Gillihan of 14 years; his two sons, Russell (Beth) Gillihan and  Marc (Janna) Gillihan; and his daughters, Lani Gillihan, Wendy Hasvold-Pointer and Tammi Jo (Greg) Norton; 15 grandchildren, Hannah, Daniel, Sarah, Luke, Renee, Jayden, Hailey, Keon, Melissa, Cassandra, Charles, Colby, Alexander, Kristina and Joseph; five great-grandchildren, Micheal, Preston, Jewel, Braiden and Caiden; and siblings, Bob (Kathy) Gillihan, George (Veda) Gillihan, Ray Gillihan, Roy (Renette) Gillihan, Anna May (Chuck) Wyman, Kristy (Rick) Scaraglino and Pat Gillihan.

Milton was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elsie Gillihan; brothers, Jack and Harold Gillihan; and two nephews, Kevin and Kelly Gillihan.

He was active in the Calvary Chapel Church. Milton always talked about the Lord, sharing the word with anyone that would listen. He always had something positive to say and encouraged all around him.
