The Mossyrock baseball team held a slim lead going into the fifth inning in Toutle on Saturday, but the Ducks got going late and handed the Vikings a 4-2 loss.
Mossyrock got on the board first with a RBI single from Gunnar Callies in the third, and the 1-0 scoreline held until the fifth.
Toutle Lake scored twice in the fifth and sixth, and an RBI single from Shaun Fry wasn’t even to come back in the top of the seventh.
Easton Kolb pitched all six innings, allowing five hits and four runs (two earned), and he struck out nine. Fry and Mason Atter finished with two hits apiece.
Mossyrock (4-1, 4-1 C2BL) is set to host Toutle Lake on Monday.
