Mossyrock got a huge win over Naselle, 52-21, to put the Vikings second in the 1B Columbia Valley League standings.
The Vikings started out with 18 in the first quarter as they kept the pressure on Naselle all game as the Comets had no answers. Torrey led the scoring with 20 points, and the Vikings combined for 18 steals as a team. Abbie Lovan led the team with four steals and Torrey led with eight rebounds.
“We played great, it was a big win for us,” Mossyrock coach Autumn Moorcroft said. “It was our best first half of basketball all year.”
Mossyrock plays Oakville Thursday and Willapa Valley Friday.
