A 67-year-old motorcyclist was injured in Mason County Saturday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.
About 4:40 p.m., the Bremerton man was headed north on his motorcycle on state Route 3, south of Belfair. Meanwhile, a 52-year-old man, also from Bremerton, was looking to exit a parking lot in his pickup truck.
Troopers say the pickup driver attempted to merge into northbound traffic, but a failure to yield resulted in the motorcyclist crashing into him. Both vehicles stopped in the northbound lane.
The 52-year-old man was not injured, but the motorcyclist was taken to St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale.
