Picking up steam as the match rolled along, the Rainier volleyball team swept past Toledo on the road Tuesday, 25-18, 25-19, 25-9.
The Mountaineers were led by a great offensive night from a trio of standouts, with Haleigh Hanson leading the way for 11 kills and six aces. Acacia Murphy and Anika Plowman also each added eight kills to spread out the attack.
Dishing the ball out for kills all night, Brooklynn Swenson finished with 26 assists, and back row mates Olivia Earsley and Lilly Johnson had 17 and 14 digs, respectively.
Rainier takes on Wahkiakum next on the road Thursday while the Riverhawks play Toutle Lake on the road, with both games starting at 7 p.m.
