Making the long trek out to Cathlamet, the Morton-White Pass boys basketball team struggled to find offense in the final frame and fell to Wahkiakum, 51-45, Thursday night.
The Timberwolves got 12 points a piece from Gary Dotson and Leytan Collette, and 11 from Jace Peters, but scored just eight points in the fourth quarter in a tough offensive finish.
The Mules were led by two double figure scorers, and were able to prevail at home thanks to strong defense, holding the T-Wolves to single digit scoring in two quarters.
MWP will take on Onalaska for its next game on the road on Saturday.
