The Napavine boys wrestling team had three varsity placers at the Cougar Clash Tournament in Puyallup on Saturday, helping the Tigers finish fifth out of 17 teams.
Peyton Hernandez (132) and Tommy Deebach (175) both received byes and went 3-0 to win their classes, and Nolan Dunivin (106) went 3-1 to place third in his.
In the junior varsity division, Logan Ulmer (JV 125) finished first, and Austin Tucker (JV 132) finished third.
The Napavine girls were also in action over the weekend, competing in the Hill Climber Tournament at Black Hills.
Maya Kunkel was the lone placer at that tournament, as she finished second in her bracket.
"I'm really proud of the progress our young team is making," Napavine coach Kyzer Bailey said.
