The Oakville softball team lost its second matchup against Taholah in as many days on Friday, falling to the Chitwhins 13-8.

Oakville built an early 5-2 lead and led 6-5 after three innings, but Taholah outscored the Acorns 8-0 over the fourth, fifth, and sixth to build a lead.

Riyah Filitaula hit a home run and drove in three runs as part of her 2 for 3 day, while Lilly Zilsdorf went 2 for 3 and Taryn Baker drove in a run.

Oakville (3-11) will get another crack at Taholah on Tuesday, when the two teams meet again in a district tournament game. The winner will advance to a winner-to-state district semifinal in Naselle on Thursday.
