Onalaska was held to single-digit scoring in all four quarters as the Loggers struggled offensively in a 71-29 road loss to Raymond in non-league play on Monday.

Raymond’s Tre’ Seydal entered the game needing just seven points to reach 1,000 in his career and got all that and more, finishing with a game-high 29.

Onalaska was led by Kole Taylor’s nine points, while Blaze Underhill chipped in seven.

The Loggers fell behind early, trailing 20-8 after one quarter and 42-16 at the half. They shot just 12 for 41 (29%) from the field and 1 of 18 from beyond the arc.

“We played a little harder but we didn’t play much better,” Onalaska coach Wayne Nelson said. “We just gotta improve on both ends of the court.”

Onalaska falls to 1-5 overall and has now lost four straight. The Loggers head to Cathlamet Tuesday to face Wahkiakum in a Central 2B League matchup.
