The Office of Chehalis Basin will be hosting a community webinar titled “Collaboration and Community: the Aquatic Species Restoration Plan” on May 31, according to a news release.
Starting at 6 p.m., the webinar will run for an hour. Office of Chehalis Basin program leads and community partners will break down the Aquatic Species Restoration Plan for the Chehalis Basin, talking about how the plan works and detailing case studies from across the basin.
The Aquatic Species Restoration Plan is made up of science-based actions and on-the-ground projects to protect and restore 550 miles of salmon, steelhead and other aquatic species’ habitats in the Chehalis Basin. It is part of the Chehalis Basin Strategy, which has invested $77.5 million in Aquatic Species Restoration Plan projects and completed 80 projects total so far according to the release.
