Packwood’s annual chicken barbecue will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 3.
Hosted by the Packwood Improvement Club, the barbecue will be held simultaneously with one of Packwood’s Music in the Park events, featuring Bryson Evans.
The cost of the barbecue is $12 for adults and $7 for children under the age of 12.
The barbecue will include chicken, barbecue sauce, baked beans, french bread, salad, desert and beverages. A takeout option will be available.
The event will be held at the Packwood Community Hall Park, located at 12935 U.S. Highway 12 in Packwood.
A fireworks display will also be performed at dark the night before, courtesy of the Packwood Fire Department.
