Benjamin Moore & Co., a paint and coating manufacturer, has opened a new distribution center in Tumwater and celebrated with a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony on Dec. 5, according to a Benjamin Moore news release.
“This center aims to enhance supply chain capabilities and benefit the local community,” Benjamin Moore Public Relations Manager Rebecca Gramuglia said in the release.
Additionally, the company opened the new Tumwater distribution center with a $1,500 donation to Rebuilding Together Thurston County, according to the City of Tumwater.
Rebuilding Together Thurston County is a nonprofit focused on helping low-income families, those with accessibility needs, elderly people in need, and veterans and their families with their home repair and renovation needs.
“(Tumwater) Mayor Debbie Sullivan thanked our new business community member for their trust in our city — and their commitment to kindness in Tumwater,” the city stated in a Facebook video post of the ribbon-cutting.
The new Benjamin Moore distribution center is located at 2422 93rd Ave. SW in Tumwater.
