The Winlock boys basketball ended the 2023 part of its season by snapping a four-game skid, beating Concrete 66-55 on the road in a non-league contest Saturday.

Freddie Patching scored 26 points to lead the way, while Landen Cline added 21 and Lincoln Ruiz had 12.

The Cardinals (2-5, 0-4 C2BL) jumped out to a 13-point lead at halftime, and rode that the rest of the way for the win.

Winlock will return to league play next Thursday, with the Battle of the Cowlitz against Toledo.
