The Pe Ell boys basketball team took care of business at home Tuesday, beating the Washington School for the Deaf 54-28 in a 1B Columbia Valley League matchup.

Eight players got in on the scoring for the Trojans (2-4, 2-1 1B CVL), led by Calan McCarty who scored 15 points. Silas Edgar scored eight points, and Jakob Hayes had 10.

The Trojans held the Terriers to two points in the first quarter and eight in the first half, building a lead up to 30 points after third periods.

“We rebounded much better and did well in transition,” PL coach Chris Phelps said.

Pe Ell is set to host Firm Foundation in Battle Ground on Thursday.
