The Pe Ell volleyball team didn’t play the perfect match Tuesday, but still came away with a sweep of Three Rivers Christian, 25-16, 25-8, 25-19.

“It was definitely a night that we can learn from,” coach Eddi Peterson said. “We had several missed serves and a lot of miscommunication between the younger girls. It’s all about teamwork and trust, we just have to keep working as we are a very young team and we will get there.”

Madi Engel led the Trojans with five kills.

Pe Ell will get a rivalry matchup next, at Willapa Valley.
