Pe Ell’s Phelps named CVL MVP for second straight year

For the second year in a row, Pe Ell’s Karli Phelps was named the Columbia Valley MVP, as announced by league coaches on Friday.

Phelps headlined a Pe Ell team that dominated, both on the court and in the all-league voting, as Maisy King and Peyton Zock also earned first-team honors.

Emma Kissner was named to the second team, Brookelynn King earned an honorable mention, and Kelsey Lennox was named the league’s coach of the year.

Oakville’s Ui’Lani Siufanua was also named to the first team, while Naenae Filitaula and Carolann Black both earned honorable mentions.
