Photos: Dragons of Fire Valley Return to Fort Borst Park in Centralia

The live-action role play (LARP) is the work of the Dragons of Fire Valley, one of about nine Western Washington affiliates of Amtgard, “a world-wide organization dedicated to medieval and fantasy combat sports and recreation.” Steven Staggs, who plays as Count Runesilver, estimates there are another 12 groups in Eastern Washington. Dragons of Fire Valley meet at 12:30 p.m. every Saturday at Fort Borst Park in Centralia. Anyone interested in participating is welcome to attend. There are on average about 40 members present each week. Saturday marked the group’s first outing since the start of the pandemic.
