An 18-year-old man faces charges from a November crash where he allegedly left the scene while his girlfriend was dead in his truck.

Pierce County prosecutors requested a bench warrant Monday for Nickolas Levi Mallow Greinke, who is charged with vehicular homicide and failure to remain at accident resulting in death, court records show.

A sheriff's deputy was dispatched at about 5:51 p.m. on Nov. 30 to reports of a two-vehicle head-on fatal crash in the 33000 block of 8th Avenue South. The deputy found a black Ford Mustang facing northwest. There was a "mutilated" pink-and-white Toyota pickup facing southwest in a ditch. Investigators later learned the Toyota was registered to Greinke, according to charging documents.

The passenger in the pickup was pronounced deceased at the scene. It was determine the passenger was Greinke's girlfriend, Zoey Wiseman, prosecutors wrote.

The driver of the Mustang said he was traveling north on 8th Avenue South. Greinke was driving the pickup south and suddenly entered the northbound lane to pass traffic. The pickup was allegedly driving at high speed, and the Mustang's driver did not have time to brake, prosecutors wrote.

Prosecutors wrote that the pickup struck the front of the Mustang toward the passenger side. Other witnesses said that Greinke allegedly ran south from the crash scene. He reportedly had a large bleeding gash on his forehead. Greinke allegedly returned to the scene about three times and tried to wake the passenger up without success, prosecutors wrote.

Deputies spoke to Greinke's mother, who confirmed that he drove the pickup. She also told them that she kicked Greinke out of the house. Investigators spoke to Greinke's father, who indicated he was in contact with Greinke but would advise he hire an attorney before speaking to law enforcement, prosecutors wrote.

On Dec. 1, a man called 911 to report his daughter, Wiseman, as a runaway juvenile. He had not heard from her since Nov. 30. Investigators learned that Wiseman and Greinke were at a residence in Puyallup that day. Then they left in Greinke's pickup.

Prosecutors wrote that a deputy presented a six-subject photo montage on Dec. 8 and presented it to the Mustang's driver. The driver identified subject No. 5 as the person who fled the crash scene. That photograph was of Greinke.

Since Monday, law enforcement has made multiple attempts to contact Greinke with no success, charging documents show.
